A quiet morning pottering around the house - changing the bed, practicing my Gaelic and making spicy lentil soup for lunch.
We then headed over to the theatre to hear Denise Mina in conversation with David Greig, who opened by asking Denise Mina what she thought about a quote from the German philosopher Adorno - "art is an uncommitted crime". This set the scene for a thought provoking, wide ranging and entertaining conversation which touched upon Rizzio, Savonarola, theatre in everyday life and much more besides.
I then had an hour to kill before doing my shift at the book shop stall and relaxed in foyer and people watched and chatted to a few people.
Our stall wasn't overly busy but I enjoyed talking to our customers and other volunteers and the setting was lovely - in a room over looking River Tummel.
I came home to a very tasty vegetable curry which T had made, accompanied by a rather refreshing gin and tonic.
We will continue with The Wire tonight - we are nearing the end of Series 2. We have found it worth rewatching and will work our way through the remaining series.
