Friday: Cottage Garden Society Magazine

It rained all morning, fine drizzly rain from the west, not particularly cold and our little “mountain” had disappeared under the mist … rain stopped early afternoon but sky was overcast and very grey :-((
I went out a couple of times to feed the birds, who were very hungry!
In today’s post was the latest edition of The CGS Magazine, I’ve been a member since 1986 and enjoy the variety of articles which appear in the quarterly magazine - https://www.thecgs.org.uk - for many years now I’ve been experimenting with unusual varieties of vegetables which grow mixed in with flowers, herbs and fruit. Tonight I’ll be reading the article in the photo, MrD is watching Scotland v. Wales junior team, who seem to be evenly matched.
