So much inspiration
I know a couple of blippers will probably recognise where I was today! I met up with a lady who I met via lockdown, who interviewed me for a podcast, Creativity Found. It was the first time we had met in real life. We went to the Fashion and Textile museum and saw the Kaffe Fasset exhibition. I've uploaded one of my favourites. I like the way the stripes have been pieced and cut into triangles
It was strange to see 'the original' of a pattern I made up for my mum for her 70th, which I now have on my bed.
Much inspiration - I loved being able to get up close and look at the arrangement of patterns and cuts.
It was very busy in the exhibition, but London seemed quite quiet.
We had a lovely lunch by the Thames, then headed back to our respective Oxbridge homes!
I've just finished packing up for my first fair of the year - in Cambridge tomorrow at Jesus College.
