Life’s a beach

Blue sky, sandy beach - so deceptive! Loch Morlich - freezing cold and blowing gale!
Walked up through Chalamain Gap in the Cairngorms. Passed a squad of mountain rescuers out training with their dogs. Lots of excited yapping from the dogs - clearly enjoying their job.
Scrambly walk over boulders through the gap, then out into blustery wind as we headed back down. Not much snow on the hill side , but just enough for the skiers.
Parked up for the night in the Glenmore site, next to the Loch. Great site - we’ll be back to that one.
