Featherlike

I was up early (for me these days) as a repair man was due sometime between 07:15 and 10:15. He turned up at 09:20!

This cloud formation was to the south. I always enjoy looking at cloud shapes but I am no expert on cloud types.

A spot of googling informed me that this is not a feather cloud (they do exist albeit rare). Instead this might be a type of stratus cloud but I am happy to be corrected.

In any event it looked more unusual to me.
PS. The repair was successful.
