Leon's Custard Stand

Leon's is just down the road from where I work, & is a Milwaukee Landmark! It opened in 1942 & has been family owned & operated continuously since then. They have the best frozen custard ever made--people travel from all over the state, as well as come from surrounding states, just to get some! The place is virtually unchanged from when it opened--you park, get out & walk up to the window, place your order, get your order, & eat it in the car or standing around! In the summer the line sometimes goes half way down the block, & it's a community experience to wait in line, chatting with people of all ages, while you wait your turn to order!
