MORE GIFTS FROM FRIENDS

Hello Lovely Blippers,

A couple of weeks ago Caroline, one of Mrs. HCB’s friends, gave her some of her late mother-in-law’s knitting needles, crochet hooks, lots of wool and some unfinished knitting.  Of course, Mrs. HCB was thrilled about having all this, but there is a lot to sort out, as you can see.

You know how kind we are, so we said we would help her to sort things out, but we did get in a bit of a tangle, and realised after we had all picked up different balls of wool that perhaps we should have waited until Mrs. HCB told us what to do, so we were rather silly!  Ah well, we had good fun unravelling all the wool and sorting out the various needles and there are lots of them including lots of circular needles, so we could have fun making a huge circle - or perhaps not!  We think that it would have made Admirer smile if she could have seen us.

Mrs. HCB has decided to rest today as her knee is very painful and she didn’t sleep well so we must be very quiet so as not to disturb her.  Perhaps winding wool and sorting out things will help her and we  might even ask Mr. HCB if he will cook the meal this evening.  We were looking forward to having hot chocolate and marshmallows again after we had finished this big job, so perhaps we can persuade Mr. HCB to make some for us and leave Mrs. HCB resting.

We do hope you all have a good weekend and remember to be kind to one another - it’s the only way to live and it is definitely not silly to be kind!
