Sight reading

Daughter No. 3 has grade 1 piano coming up in a month's time so she decided to have a go at some sight reading. The pieces all sounded a bit odd - but then I remembered that that is normal for sight reading excerpts - designed to confuse!

Husband has gone off to a fathers only school black tie do. The girls and I went for delivered pizza (and Pinot, in my case). Only fair I reckon.

Managed to restrain myself from getting too excited about my NEW WASHING MACHINE for a whole day! I even plumbed it in myself. The joys of being a weekday widow. At this rate I might even start washing curtains as I'm running out of ideas to play with. Maybe not.
