Ha!

Edinburgh City council intended to shut down every lap dancing bar and strip joint but following a judicial review it has been deemed unlawful.

Not that I think these establishments lend anything to the city but it is grand to see the heavy handed council get their knuckles rapped.

So our blip today - I have dug out and scanned a shot from the lap dancing bars fore runner, a go-go bar from the late 1970s taken on an Olympus half frame camera loaded with Ilford HP5 pushed to an ISO of 32000. The performer was a lovely lady called Irene. (who, at the end of her three track act - which almost always included Viva Espagna and Hot Chocolate's 'You sexy thang'  as she gathered her divested lingerie from the stage or the heads of her audience she would cry 'Tea Break!'
