Render

The masons have been busy and we now have some render hiding the ugly concrete block work. Yesterday they applied the base coat and today the top coat - and as you can see it went everywhere.

You can see the pile of rubbish that my wife dug out of the garden to the left, and at the far end the house with the solar-thermal collector rather prominent.

Where the ladders are stacked on the right we hope to stand at least one 800 litre water tank to store the water that falls on the carport/bike shed so we've got water to use in the garden. While most people in France joke about it always being wet in Brittany, where we are there isn't much drinking water to go around and last year there were restrictions on water usage for months and real possibility of running out of drinking water full stop.
