Rotten to the core

A bit of gardening this afternoon in some weak sunshine and 11c warmth.  Raking amongst some old logs we came across a few pieces half buried in the remains of some rubbish from 2 years ago.  One was like a normal log but another had a strange interior.  Thought it was worth a Blip.
