Ice Melting …

… in La Gryonne river making patterns as it disappears. The strange thing is  the dippers seem to have disappeared too. Even with two pairs of eyes there today, not a whistle to be heard. That’s 6 times I have been there recently, hoping to see them using their crampons on the ice. No luck. Still it is a lovely place to walk gently with just the rush of the river to listen to.
