From White Wells

Funny place White Wells and I'm not sure what goes on in the woodland when I'm not there. There are patterns made out of flints laid out in various places and streamers and bunting surrounding trees. Mystic or mad?

There is a well there, it used to supply water to the Bishop's Palace (now a ruin) a little way down the hill. Maybe it's been shortened from White Wizard's Well, maybe Saruman used to live there before he moved to Isengard and went evil. Hold on, I think I must have caught some of that madness!

There's a field at the side of the wood a field and I popped through a gap in the hedge to take a panorama looking down to Teignmouth in that lovely late afternoon light.
