Monthly Coffee Morning

Our coffee morning today was really well attended.  A few people mentioned that they felt the coffee mornings are becoming a really friendly event, which is great.  Our speaker gave a short talk on the birds on the Isle of May, including a surprise discovery that Storm Petrels had been nesting there for a few decades without anyone realising they were there.  

When we arrived to set up, we discovered that the hall had been decorated for a teenagers party later in the day.  We managed to set up our chairs and tables and when the person setting up the party decorations arrived to finish the job in the middle of the proceedings she was fine about the mix-up too.
