Back to the 1970’s

According to the planning people our house is an ‘Architect designed gem’ and makes ‘a stunning end point’ the the lane. At least that was the reason they gave when they refused part of our planning application.

Gem my arse, it’s a carbuncle ( I like it though ) and aren’t all house designed by an architect?

Anyway, H and I spent a useful few hours attacking bits of the garden with loppers, fire and the leaf blower. The front is looking a lot clearer now, hopefully things will start to bloom soon ( not weeds though ).
