Coastal Birds

We took Camper Annie to Reculver today.  We had a lovely lunch in the van overlooking the sea then went for a walk. I was thrilled to find this, what I believe to be,Black Redstart (either a female or a juvenile). It caught my eye when it flew and revealed the rusty-red tale. These can be found on rocky coasts and stony places. The eroding coastline at Reculver has been protected by huge rocks so clearly a perfect home from this little bird.

In extras is the Pied Wagtail, which was hopping hopefully around the van.
