Goodbye Madeira

I'll be back for lots of unfinished business.

Roam and I had to be up before 5am to catch a bus to the airport for our early morning flight home. The flight path takes you over the eastern peninsular where we E and I had walked a few days before. It was a stunning way to say goodbye. I now need another holiday to recover.

Thanks to all of you who have followed my adventures here, and bestowed so much love too. Perhaps a few of you will now be inspired to make a trip of your own. I know it's brought back a lot of memories for those who already have a relationship with the island. It's a very special place.
