Marché, place Maubert

I worked at the Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal today with a book from 1904 that is crumbling to pieces, but I was very glad the librarians let me handle it instead of having to resort to microfilm. I walked there from Maubert-Mutualité and managed to avoid the demonstrations, happening between République and Nation, though I could hear them from the library. 

J rode 77 km on his bike through Versailles, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Nanterre and back. It was a mild 8 degrees so he made the most of it.

This evening we were invited to dinner at friends who live close by, a really lovely time!
