Hanging on

A few years ago, we had such heavy rain that part of the road was washed away and the side of the bank sloughed into the harbour. I'm surprised that this tree that was partially submerged is still hanging on.
The road repairs from the recent heavy rains haven't been finished and no more work done for quite a few days now.
