Pool.

Today was forecast to be really hot and people were warned not to go to the beaches as the sea might be rough.

So, we thought we'd go to Tallebudgera creek.

Obviously, so did a lot of other people.

Although the beach wasn't particularly packed, we just couldn't find anywhere to park.

We drove to Burleigh, but the same problem there.

In the end we drove all the way back home and took the girls to the pool near the library.

We've never been in this pool before.  There weren't many people there and the girls had a great time.

Isabella said it was even better than the beach.  So, we will definitely be back.

We stayed for a couple of hours, then headed back home for lunch.

It was definitely very hot this afternoon.

I shut all the doors and windows, the outside temp was 38c.

Downstairs was cool, a lot hotter upstairs.

It's 6pm and still 31c outside and 35c inside!  But there's a nice cool breeze blowing onto the back of the house, so I've opened up all the windows.

Hope it cools down a bit by the time I go to bed.
