Bruges, Belgium .... in the rain...

We made the best of it, watched an elderly woman, her fingers flying, making lace, ate delicious Belgium waffles at a street stand, and visited the "Beguinage" a community established in the 13th Century of an independent religious order of women who didn't take vows but lived in these charming small homes, earning their living weaving.

Almost forgot.. Canal boat tour too (before the rain began, thankfully!)
