Lightning

This is a 'life-sized' advertising replica of the Pixar movie character 'Lightning McQueen' from the movie Cars. Named after an animator (Glen McQueen) who died during the development of the cartoon movie, it has become a popular character for young and old alike.

Today is also National Plum Pudding Day - but since I wouldn't say I like plum pudding, here is all I'm going to say:


Did you know plum pudding contains no plums? That's because raisins were often called "plums" in 17th-century Great Britain. So what does this traditional plum or Christmas pudding actually contain? This steamed or boiled concoction features nutmeg, raisins, nuts, apples, cinnamon, and dates. Traditionally served during the holidays, this often overlooked dish gets a second chance to impress on February 12, known as National Plum Pudding Day.
