RSPB Loch Lomond

This morning we went to RSPB Loch Lomond for the first time this year and our first visit since they opened the Lomond Trail which links up two parts of the reserve by means of a boardwalk. It is a great addition and extended our visit by over an hour compared to before. It was very calm and quiet on the shoreline and next time I will take a picnic with us so we can stay longer and take in the beautiful views.
We did not see any eagles or hen harriers, apparently they have been spotted here recently, nor the beavers that were introduced just last week, a lovely walk nevertheless!
