Genealogy

Today I continued with the genealogy and photo project, and shared the results with Dad's sister and her elder son. Of the two dozen old family photos that I've scanned and cleaned up, there are some beauties. This is partly because photography was a hobby of Dad's father - to the extent that one photo has Dad posing next to his father's new enlarger! This is Dad with his mother in 1935, three years before she died. 

Otherwise, I had a long dog walk in the morning, and a shopping trip with L. Although we went out for groceries, I also had to get the necessary for reattaching the rear number plate onto the car. I'll have to do the job tomorrow, even though it won't be the 10 degrees that is recommended!
