Spring is in the air

Outside doing a bit of gardening while the sun was out - pruning and tidying. Portia came out to join me, sat on the table, and sniffed the air. Then she got terribly excited and ran up the tree where all the bird feeders are - which she’s never done before. Then she gave me a look like ‘I wish I hadn’t done this’ and slithered back down in an undignified manner. I’m hoping she won’t do it again:)
In the evening went round to eat with my friend who had the knee replacement. She had some very posh ready meals , which were delicious. It’s great to see her getting better
