Orchard Road, Singapore

Arrived safely in Singapore after a long, long haul from Barcelona via Dubai on Emirates airlines. 14 hours of flying time broken into 6.5 and 7.5 hours, respectively. Door to door, about 22 hours. Second flight was on the huge and comfortable double-deck Airbus A380. Very humid, here, with monsoon rain all afternoon. Into a cocktail reception two hours after arriving with the global CEO’s attending the IESE/Wharton program that I’m facilitating on. Nice to catch up with some from Philadelphia last year and meet new ones like the CEO of Lufthansa. Then a walk out with Javier and, later, a beer and Japanese with Clark on Orchard Road. Nice to be back after a 33 year gap!
