Apparently it once supplied water to all of the paper mills in Penicuik.
Lovely spot on our circular loop to and from Nine Mile Burn (via Carlops) today. It’s part of our Camino training programme that Mr P has organised.
We headed up into the hills after Mass and then relaxed in the afternoon. I finished off my Creative Writing course tasks. Missing my Happy Valley fix tonight.
