The sun returned … briefly

I went out for a short walk this morning and helped T to bring home two large bagfuls of litter from a nearby stream. There was even a broken umbrella and a coconut amongst the haul! Many of the plastic bottles had been there for years.

The sun emerged at lunch time and caught these flowers in our kitchen in a good light.

I expected more from Italy in their 6 nations match v England this afternoon.

This evening we enjoyed watching our youngest’s partner in two new tv shows. She was very good!
