Mono Monday . . . Broad or Narrow

I went for a walk on the hill and had a happy time capturing nature study pics.  The sky has been overcast all day with some strong wind gusts but no rain.  I selected this blip for the challenge because I see narrow strips of bark peeling off the broad trunk of a eucalyptus tree.  Thanks to Pinkhairedlady for hosting.  
TLD reported six other brave workers in her office today.  She doesn't think there will be any problems getting home again either.  Other areas are not so fortunate and thousands are without electricity.
