The Cat Shot
Ok, it's 10:30pm, I've travelled 300 miles today, I'm tired, have broken a tooth and have the mother of all sore throats. The pier can wait. It's time for....The Cat Shot.
This is Chess, one of a pair of cats we got from the RSPCA three years ago. They were found in a bedsit in Camden Town with 26 other cats. Our two couldn't be separated, we think they are father and daughter. The RSPCA told us they would never be normal cats, but here we are three years later and they are fine. Chess is the enlightened despot of the neighbourhood, paws like soup plates, the size of a small pony and totally benign....until he's pushed. That usually ends badly.
