More flowers and a tree trunk - my blips haven't been so predictable in ages!

Today was a truly excellent day at work. Though to be honest, it was actually last Wednesday was the really good day, but until the announcement was made today, we had to keep shtum. We are absolutely over the moon to have got the funding for this project though, it will make a huge difference in the lives of people who are denied access to so many things we take for granted.

A lovely evening at the Southside Film Festival, which continued its practice of showing films in venues connected to the films by showing McCullin, hosted by Queens Park Camera Club. Great film, and rather tasty tea, cake and chocolate covered strawberries, which is something of a contrast to the content of the film. I heartily recommend you watch it though if you have any interest in photography, current affairs, politics, the media or war and conflict.
