Mono Monday....Narrow

A grey and dull morning which to my delight, brightened up early afternoon, galvanising me out of my lethargy and into taking a walk around the lake.  Not much sign of spring, a few catkins, and tiny buds on trees, but otherwise pretty bare. Looking for something narrow for the challenge,  I thought this birch tree, with just a narrow gap between it's branches, just about fitted...thanks Pinkhairedlady. 
I've registered to take part in the energy PeakSave session this evening between 5.30pm and 6.30pm, so an early dinner, lights to a minimum and no TV...no great hardship!
