A narrow gate...

...on to a broad path...

It's a new gate, replacing the lovely old wooden one here! It's designed to let horses through on to the bridleway without their riders having to dismount - hence the the long pole as a handle, and the low locking mechanism so the leverage works.

At extras - a rather fetching fastening, complete with pink baler twine ;)
