Disappointment

Bit of a disappointing day today. I had a phone call from the hospital telling me about the plans for my knee replacement surgery on Thursday at about 10.30 this morning. Half an hour later, they rang me to tell me it had to be cancelled due to the surgeon having a family bereavement. It’s been rescheduled with a different surgeon for 3 weeks time. I’d made lots of plans and preparation for having surgery this week, as had lots of other people on my behalf, it feels a real let down. I did a bit of tidying of my kitchen shelves to distract me. My baking shelf looks impressive, not that I actually do much baking but it looks like I do! Maybe I’ll be inspired to do some!
