Bright carnations

Emergency blip of the carnations I bought some time ago! Was up early to go with Richard for his cataract operation. He was very anxious and hadn’t eaten or drunk very much over the weekend. His blood pressure was low at 96/60 and he felt he couldnt manage the op but then he settled down a little and signed thd consent form. When it came to it he was too anxious and upset that there was no anaesthetist there but he was just having a local on the eye.

They will try again after another clinic appointment for general anaesthetic but giving him a light sedative! How soon that will happen is not sure! We got there shortly before 09.30 and he went in for the op at 12.15 at which point I went to costa for a coffee and macaroni cheese! Eventually got home around 14.00 having dropped Richard off in the taxi and spoken to the home about what had occurred!

Later went for a walk with Sian and the dogs and then popped back for tea and to see the tea service that Sian had brought back from her parents house where she went at the weekend.

Just watched the first part of the new police drama on BBC! Corruption in high places! Sleep well all!
