Stormy weather . . .
. . . but not quite a storm.
I spent another gorgeous Friday afternoon on the rooftop with friends, this time eating sushi made by a friend from Japan. It was spectacular though the wasabi even made her eyes water. I love that feeling, when it shoots through my sinuses and makes my eyes water!
After a leisurely lunch, a few of us spent the late afternoon playing cards and board games. While we were playing, the weather suddenly changed dramatically, and it seemed as if a storm was coming in. We could see rain falling up north, but it stayed dry by us. Still, a strong, fresh wind blew through the apartment, bringing with it the smell of rain.
What an exciting novelty it is to have a camera that can capture good images at dusk and in the dark. I am in love.
Just as quickly, the weather changed again, so I spent the evening on another rooftop, enjoying a delicious Indian meal prepared by my colleague from New Delhi.
One of those truly lovely days.
