Life continues …

….. ….. ….. normally for us in the South while Cyclone Gabrielle continues its path of destruction in the North Island. The situation up there is grim, with widespread outages of power and other services, a very anxious time waiting for news of a fire fighter maybe swept away, loss of homes, stock, bridges, and roads. The carnage is unbelievable.
A nationwide State of Emergency has been declared, only the 3rd time ever.
My day continued as per usual - it seems bizarre.
