Aubretia

Off to the pharmacy first thing to collect some medication then a load of washing in the machine while the sun is shining - that's when the solar panels are working at their best.

Today I walked down through the farmyard and along the track over the farm.  It really was warm - no coat needed.  On the way back I noticed the aubretia which self-seeded years ago on the walls of the old farm buildings was coming into flower.  The bumble bees are now flying around, their deep buzz cannot be mistaken. An old friend phoned in the evening, she has just had a knee replacement op and seems to be getting on well.  She very kindly looked after me for a couple of days after my hip op!  We are all falling apart!
