Rosa 'Madame Isaac Pereire' ...

'Madame Isaac Pereire' is an antique rose in the Bourbon category, introduced in France in 1881. This rose has fully double blooms that are powerfully fragrant and have long been one of my favorite roses. I plant Madame Isaac in every garden I ever create.

In this photo she is growing up out of a little house made of recycled windows, open air front and back, not a greenhouse. She grows up the tree where a little birdhouse is currently en famille with the babies chirping and mother and father dashing in and out. A lovely sight, and such a delightful time of the year.
