We have been warned that major electrical works in the area will take nine months. We are becoming used to the stop - go signs and the queueing traffic, the noisy machinery and the piles of rubble.
The purple barriers are inching their way along the road towards Bowness and the men in their high vis jackets are hard at work. It’s not very often they stop for a breather. No wonder they are ahead of their schedule. Well done team!
