A Single Shot

I was all excited to be back paddle boarding on such a calm morning. The "fish boil" I spotted prompted me to get my point and shoot out to hopefully capture fish in the water as I paddle through them. Unfortunately, my camera took this one distance shot, then completely stopped working. In the past I have been able to take the battery out or give the camera a sharp tap on something hard, but nothing worked today (and I tried both techniques multiple times during my hour-long paddle). I tried charging the battery on my return home with no luck. It wasn't until I "tapped" it one last time on the concrete floor that it sprang back to life, with this single image from the day.
