Penguin rehab

Today Charente, Mr C and I  went to SAMROC, the seabird rehabilitation center. W had an excellent guide who taught us much about the African penguin. This penguin was in the hospital where his foot was being treated after a shark bite. Amazing work is done at the center, with penguins being treated and released, or living there permanently if unable to be released. I also showed them our PE beachfront and Maitland beach.
Tonight we went to our local Sacramento restaurant where, for the first time they opened at night and served a Valentine's day dinner. A good ending to a lovely day.
