Spirals

Have I mentioned that I like spirals??

I stayed late at school this afternoon trying to get caught up since I don't want to grade papers, get in grades or work on awards this weekend. As a result, I didn't have a blip for today. So, I ended up taking this picture of shells I have found.

My kids often tease me about keeping more broken shells than whole ones, but I like the spirals inside the shell. The purple one is one I found after the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill although I don't know if that is what caused the shell's color.
