The Fold

We decided to go out for lunch and drove over to The Fold where they serve good, reasonably priced,  vegetarian food.  So it was coffee first followed by their homemade  black bean chilli with rice, delicious!  Before the meal we went for a walk around the large quarry lake.  It was very quiet and peaceful,  and also quite sunny.

After lunch we investigated a nearby garden centre, Laylocks.  Quite nice and we stayed there long enough to have a pot of tea.


The extra is a solitary Great Crested Grebe on the far side of the lake.
