Wytch Elm Beauly Priory

This ancient tree Over 800 years, came down early in  January this year. It had been destroyed by Dutch Elm disease like many other trees around here. The Priory dates from 1230 and it is believed the tree is about the same.  It is fenced off as gravestones were badly damaged when it fell. They are still lying damaged and broken today. A sad sight.
