Buxton Memorial Fountain

It was fenced off because the stonework is deteriorating, but the roof of the fountain is still rather elegant! 

Watched another episode of DS9. OH assures me that it's the last of the "bad episodes" - he's an avid follower of IMDB audience ratings. 

Finished Koh-i-Noor book (3/5) and started on another history book, this one about the history of measurement! It's in that particular category of history writing which I love where a historian tells the history of all sorts of things through one specific topic - I've previously enjoyed a book on the history of salt! 

I took my writing on the train and scribbled all over another section. Progress!
