Valentine’s Day

It was a fun packed day with Stephanie and her son Alex from Michigan on their annual trip to California.  Too bad it was 50 F with gusty winds. I had them over for  ravioli and kale salad lunch with my almond cake and cranberry sauce. We went to Corona del Mar to the beach for a walk and ended the day with a special Hamburger from the famous Five Crowns Restaurant. The valet gave each lady a rose.
On the beach we encountered a young man in his scuba gear - he wanted to catch a lobster for his Valentine, who was sitting in the sand.
