Difficult choice

When in doubt, blip Bean. But which shot to select as the main? I chose this one in the end because she looks intelligent and elegant (in my opinion!).

It was the weekly trip to town today, where amongst other things I stocked up on olive oil - only to find when we got home that I did exactly the same last week. Ah well, I shan’t need to buy any more for several weeks. Age and a fading memory aren’t so bad if that’s the worst that happens.

I am distracted at the moment by a combination of the bad news from the North Island courtesy of Cyclone Gabrielle, and mulling over the right words to put into a difficult email I need to compose.

You may recall a (probably soon-to-be former) friend’s husband who had been causing me grief. My friend is very keen that I explain to him exactly why I’m upset. For reasons too personal and too complex to go into I’m not going to have a conversation with him. A written explanation is a reasonable alternative, but I need to get the words accurate and exact. It is taxing my brain.

So I’m still far behind with blips. Bear with me…
