The Dr Who Escape Room.
I forgot to upload my blip yesterday, (Tuesday), Valentine’s Day.
We gave each other a card at breakfast, and then a bit later went off into Birmingham on the train to have an early lunch.
Shortly afterwards found us making our way to a venue called “The Escape Room”, which had been a Christmas gift. These “escape rooms” involve being locked in for an hour during which you have to solve various kinds of puzzles, in order to beat the timer and let out once more.
Our “room” was the Dr Who experience.
(Obviously if you don’t solve them all in time, you are released).
We managed to solve 5 of the hands on clues out of 6. The room itself had lots of Dr Who like equipment and accompanying sounds and lights. You “escaped” through a Tardis police box!
Before returning home on the train we fortified ourselves with a coffee each!
The photo is Grand Central and the station concourse where people were watching a young acrobat on a ring which was attached to the apex of the heart which you can see.
Various people were obviously taking home either single red roses, or small bunches, some were taking red heart-shaped helium balloons for their loved ones.
Once back home our friend came to tea after work as usual.
After which I forgot to post my blip.
