Rainy Days

Today was one of those weird weather days where it was sunny when you looked out the front of the house and rainy when you looked out the back. Melbourne weather: never boring!

I was up at 5:45 for my first real shift back at Phillippa's. Despite the early hour, and the rain, I actually enjoyed it - the person I worked with was absolutely lovely and we got on really well (which was good considering we spent eight hours together!), I saw lots of people who worked in office and who I knew last year, and I remembered how to make coffee so I got to jump back into that.

When I was on my lunch break Dad texted saying that a Phillippa's sales rep had been in the milk bar across the road talking bread with the owner, and he'd mentioned I worked there. About five minutes after I got the text the sales rep came into the shop and told us she'd met Dad at the milk bar. It was actually hilarious, it's such a small world sometimes.

Weirdly, I wish it had been raining more when I took this so I could have gotten a really blurry raindroppy photo, but I quite like this one. The sky was really golden which I'm not sure comes through here, but I think I still captured the odd weather.
